Your Role:
As a Field Service Engineer, you are responsible for providing on-site support at end customers to apply Suote Solamet® metallization products in the solar cell manufacturing process. You will work with the broader technology team to deliver technical expertise to customers with high-quality results to ensure high-customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Technical support for new product trials and maintenance of production line
Communicate clearly and effectively with internal team and customers to achieve the best customer satisfaction
Troubleshoot and solve customer technical issues by working with the broader internal technical team
Collaborate with customer field engineers and technicians to best use our products
Clearly understand customer needs, validate customer requests, and provide input to Product Development team
Ability to set up and maintain effective technical collaborations and relationship with customer’s field engineers and technicians
Ensure protection of intellectual properties and trade secrets
Qualifications:
Technical secondary school or college degree, with a background in chemistry or material science
Previous experience in the photovoltaic industry and familiarity in screen printing process are preferred
Self-motivating, proactive, and accountable
Diligent and eager to learn
Attention to detail
Good technical documentation practice
Good written and oral communication skills
